Location

We are located on High Street, in the centre of the historic village of Alton, near to Alton Towers, in the very picturesque tourist area of the Churnet Valley.

When entering High Street proceed up the hill approximately 200 metres and the White Hart is the last building on the left. Turn left after the pub to access the rear car parking. There is also parking in High Street itself.

In the village and local countryside there are lovely riverside walks, lakes, woodlands, and historic buildings – including the magnificent Alton Castle by Pugin, overlooking the beautiful Churnet Valley.

We are on the Staffordshire Way and close to Dimmingsdale, Uttoxeter Racecourse, Churnet Valley railway and the lovely market town of Ashbourne with its antique shops.
